Easy Access

Because we're not located slap bang in the middle of the city centre, it's a whole lot easier to get to work quicker, especially when you're coming from areas such as Easton, St George, Redfield, Eastville, Whitehall, Speedwell, Greenbank, and Barton Hill.

Being away from the built-up, rushed centre and Bristol traffic madness does not mean we're out in the sticks! We're connected to the A420, close to the Lawrence Hill train station (easy reach from Clifton, Redland, Montpelier and Filton) and many regular bus services in and out of town. So whether you travel via public transport, on foot or by car, you can reach the city centre within ten minutes. Besides, Church Road, with its many quirky cafés, pubs, shops and a variety of big supermarkets, is only a few minutes' walk away.

Green Space

Another great bonus of our location is the sheer abundance of greenery inside out. There is the gorgeous Netham Park right on our doorstep. It's peaceful, quiet, full of trees and benches, and definitely not too crowded, which most city centre parks tend to be. It's perfect for an unwinding lunch walk or munch and soaking up a bit of sunshine while you're at it. Tip: extend your walk to either St George Park or the long, leafy river that runs alongside Netham Park, which also makes for a beautiful walk back to town after work.

As for indoors, we like inviting nature as much as possible, so space will be shared with big plants for a happy, healthy office atmosphere. Your window view won't be too shabby, either! You can stare far into the Bristol hills, and the building itself is directly surrounded by allotments so you can watch various veggies grow or see gardeners peacefully potter about.

Creative People

“People who need people are the luckiest people in the world”. Apologies for quoting a cheesy Barbra Streisand song there. It felt better than using the equally true, but possibly even more cringe-worthy buzzword line of ‘Collaboration = Innovation'. Either way, both lines match our belief that working together, meeting new people, stepping out of the comfort zone of today's solitary device screens, and exchanging real chats, is a wonderful way to bring life to the day and fresh ideas to the mind.

That's why this serviced office comes with some inviting, professional meeting rooms for all your collaborative activities, and the above-mentioned sweet social areas. And eh, we would simply love to meet some new people ourselves – we're eager to start a new table tennis or Fußball tournament!

Speaking of frustrations, you won't find any usual off-putting corporate cold vibes here! We don't think we're the only ones saying “No Way, José” to those grim-looking cubicles, grey carpets and any other last-century work floor characteristics that would make your shoulders tense up before you even sit down. Nope, we're all about a natural feel, with spacious, light, visually pleasing rooms in a homely looking loft-style space, offering comfy and supportive seats and desks, pleasant lighting, topped with a luxuriously equipped cosy kitchen, all handcrafted in our own contemporary, personalised design style.

Chill Out

Because nobody's made for sitting at a desk all day, we made sure to provide plenty of opportunities to stretch the legs and social wings. Why not take a little break by playing a nice game of table tennis, or create team tournaments at the Fußball table ? If you prefer lounging lackadaisically, we have a groovy decking area available with our very own fabulous Alexander Francis sofa set to plonk down on. On sunny days you can even use the big bold BBQ there. Of course, you can also chill out indoors in our spacious design kitchen, equipped with Miele appliances and a cool American fridge! A splendid space for cooking lunch together, or waking up slowly over a hot bowl of hearty porridge.

Great Gym

Rainy day and can't potter about yourself? No worries, you can still get your move on! We have a glorious gym freely available right here, complete with a rowing machine, treadmill, Smith machine, free weights (dumbbells from 3 up to 21 kg!), bench press, workout mats and more… even a boxing bag for punching out any frustrations!

Professional Privacy

Some people mainly like working in the vicinity of others, but aren't necessarily signing up for bubbly babbles all the time (a shout-out from the introverted folk in this team: hey, we get it!!). And work needs to get done too! That's why the separate office spaces themselves are built to be nice and quiet, providing a good level of professional privacy. We also have individual work spaces, and even a completely soundproof booth for making those extra serious phone calls, or just for whenever you feel the need to break out into some serious song.

Cost-effective, Safe, Flexible

We don't just offer a vibrant, versatile space at low cost! Being CCTV experts, we also throw in complete security free of charge, providing you with mobile access to our CCTV stream, so you can check your office 24/7. That being said, you'll have great freedom and flexibility regarding access to the office space and it's facilities: we're open late, and at weekends too.

At Steelworks, we care about people. That's why we make sure you'll be as comfy as possible in your office. There are quality air conditioners available in each space, along with gas central heating, which can be adapted according to the weather – and we know how changeable the weather can be these days!
